then your are either lucky or blissfully ignorant
i have never seen really good deals on ham gear on ebay
on the other hand i have seen used stuff selling for 10% or more over
new retail prices
i seen a 2 meter FM mobile that sold brand new for 179$ sell on ebay for
220$
i also seen an Icom 706MkIIG sold on ebay for $850 when it was retailing
for $749
i will stick with the online classifieds like QTH.com or QRZ.com and
Eham.net
i find much better deals and i dont have to wait a week to know if i own
the deal
That's strange. Over the years I have acquired quite a few radios and
accessories from EBay, generally at 1/3 to 1/2 new cost. I have been pleased. You
just have to know what things cost new and watch for the "deals".
