George, if you're just venturing into the rotor arena, one thing to consider
is whether you'll want to automate use of the rotor at some  point.  If you
do, you'll want to at least go to one of the rotors that handle position
sensing, and perhaps even come with computer interfacing.  Manual is much
less expensive, of course. *g*

Could someone recommend a rotator for a Cushcraft A505S?  It is a five
element Yagi weighing 11 lbs, and with 2.9 ft. of wind surface area.  It
will be on a 20 foot mast mounted on the roof of my house, which will put
the rotator about fifty feet above ground.  The antenna will be on a 4 foot
mast above the rotator.

It appears that a heavy duty TV antenna rotator should do the job. Thanks
for any help you can provide.
