[SixClub] Knight TR-106 - DSB Mod?

Has anyone converted or read of a modification of
a Knight TR-106 for DSB, preferably so it may be
switched between AM & DSB?

I know that DSB is carrier-suppressed AM but am
not certain how to implement it on the TR-106.

I have seen such a mod to the BC-696 but that is
a very different circuit design:
