The results of the Winter Contest have been posted at
http://www.ykc.com/wa5ufh/Rally/NAHSMS.htm . It appears the six meter
operators have turned in some nice scores and numbers.

February is the month for the DOS Dead Band Contest. The basic rules and
internet link for details are on page 99 of the February 2006 QST. This
contest allows meteor scatter contacts using SSB, FSK441 and JT6M and all
contacts are to be propagation mode meteor scatter. This is a new event,
participating stations and winners will be announced on the DOS webpage
sometime in March.

This morning I worked KC7V via meteors on 50.272MHz and monitored a
successful random contact between N5SIX and W0IOH. We also worked K0KP in
EN36 on two meters. (1286 miles)

We will be monitoring 50.260 MHz. If anyone would like a schedule with this
station please email me directly or look for me on Ping Jockey.
