Obviously, the further away the better. You can feel the Horsepower drained
from an antenna when there is some type of interaction. The best is when
the only thing on top of the tower is a single band. That's how I did it at
the farm 15 years ago. Sep towers, but now In town I'm limited.

My last years antennas had the mast full of M2's the 13WL 432 M2's in the
center and a pair of 17B2's outside of that and a single 222 at the top. MY
6's were not up at the time. The antennas were only spaced 2-3' and still
felt very strong.

The setup right now has a 20 foot of universal tower rotating out of the top
of the tower with my 6 elm 6's on bottom and top, a tribander in the middle
with almost 10 feet of spacing. There is plenty of room for a long boom 432
and 2 and I wouldn't hesitate to do a stack of each.

The only reason I didn't just bolt antennas up is the tower is in the way of
the elements and I didn't want to try and shoot through the mast with them.

If you drop me a direct email, I'll send a photo of what I created here.

It's not how close but how far away I would like to keep the other antennas
for 144 and up, I'd like a wl. Looking at a 144Mhz yagi if 25-30' boom.

How close are you thinking of getting the other antennas? And what are you
thinking of putting up. It's best to keep your stack if you can.

After a year of being tower-less I finally got the concrete poured for the
60' new tower. Major house renovation required my old tower to come down,
then delays with the new construction, delays in getting the tower build,
delays in getting the concrete poured (7 yards), etc. put me many months
behind my plans.

I have a stack of new 6M yagis ready to go once the concrete cures but
having some thoughts recently for additional antennas for higher bands.
Although the tower and rotor can handle extra load the vertical spacing on
the mast in my opinion would put other band antennas to close and in danger
of negating antenna gains that I worked hard to get.
