Good point. I owned a 6N2 before I upgraded to a Japan
JST245 (HF&6). However it is much too big and heavy to
even consider for mobile use.
the 6N2 was a wonderful rig compact yet as you noted
w/ all mode. Always got very good signal reports w/
it. In the end I wish I still had it. The only
negative w/ the 6N2 was that I found the controls a
bit too confusing, too many functions on one control
knob.
On second thought, what about the Kenwood TS-60S, nice
rig w/ a 100 W out of the box, I use mine mobile w/ a
6M Hamstick. Always have good reports w/ it as well.
Anyone else in the group using it? Just curious.
