[SixClub] IC-706

If you are purchasing a new radio, and especially if it has two meters
included, I would not buy one without the HSCU (as Icom calls it). Even
though you many not be interested in operating WSJT modes, that could change
over time and to add the TXCO the additional cost is often times $70 to $120
plus if not ordered with the TXCO it must be installed (get out the
soldering iron). I purchased an IC746 without the HSCU only to find that I
needed it latter after stating HSMS using WSJT. The cooling fan actually
blows right across the crystal shielding and drives it crazy during transmit
causing huge drifts of 150hz or more.

TXCO is standard with the TS2000.
