You hams on the east coast have it pretty good.
Here on the west coast we only have white noise.

Richard asked if he has a bike.  If one was 
Around an old tin can they can polish bright work
and hold field day in the shack.  Another thing
to keep radiomen busy is to keep the ladder to the
bridge clean.  

Last year it was the end of June and early July
Before the good activity started.  Field Day weekend
Was pretty good.

Hi Charles, yeah its hard to work those 10 second openings.  The
summer E season is young and you just haven't gotten a good E opening
yet.  At least in my part of the world most openings this season have
been E - W so far (but that will change).  What are you running for
an antenna and feedline there?
