Wow!
I had no idea there was so much turmoil regarding 6
meters band plans! (I am a ham since 1998) So this is
where the 1 meg comes from? Humm! I see! I wish I had
read this post before my previous post. Obviously this
seems to be more deep that I though. Is the old 1 meg
plan the one posted at the 6mt site? Here in FK68
land, 6mt FM is just starting to catch on as more
people are using our repeater, and more are planned
for the south and west of the island. Some DXers that
have visited our RPT when the conditions allows say
that it is a good thing for them having RPTs in the 51
meg segment of the band, as these are the only ones
the can access because of the low BW of the antennas
they use and the fact they are tuned for the SSB
portion.
