Thanks to all that replied. A lot of good information was recieved. I did 
have another question. Someone made the suggestion that I use some coax for 
the ground .He suggested connecting the center conductor and the shield 
together to a short length of ground braid.I have a bunch of RG-8 laying 
around so if this is a viable option I could use what I already have. Never 
heard of anybody doing this. Will it work , or am I opening up a can of 
worms?
