I found another type of Map besides the color one that you sent out to me 
Roger that
shows the actual type of Propagation mode ( How it determines this is beyond 
me)
But this afternoon it showed F2 Propagation favoring a polar path from either 
Canada 
or Maine (I couldn't tell either, so don't feel bad!)

Based on that, it appears someone in the Maine area (I couldn't tell if it 
was Maine or Canada) worked Japan earlier today. OTOH it doesn't appear as 
if much is going on in NA at present, but Europe and the Mid East are, or 
were active
