Hi Bob:  I bought an NC270 to use on 6 when they first came out. Very  snazzy 
blue case and a nice looking receiver.  Had a strange tube in the  line up 
some place. Don't remember where now. Used it awhile and went back to a  tube 
converter,  so I guess it was not the best.  Very pretty receiver  though.
