[SixClub] New to Six Meters

Hi John,
The TR-6 was a "premier" rig in its day, but today I wouldn't pay a lot for
one unless I could find one that's in mint condition and I were a Drake
equipment collector (which I'm not).
To me, in 2005, the TR-6 is just another old six meter rig. But in 1979, it
was only a ten year-old design and considered very, very good. It also ran
more power (barefoot) than anything else ever made for six meters, about
150W PEP output, which was sufficient to drive a pair of 3-500Zs very well
-- most of the other rigs on the market could just barely drive these tubes
to full power.

Steve WB2WIK/6

Hi Steve,
How is the TR-6 anyways? As good as everyone says,
and worth the prices they are commanding today?
