Scott,

I have an 6 meter DEM transverter. It works well bit is not in
the case as it was hardwired into a Kenwood TS850.

If you could use this with a 28 MHZ radio ala Uniden or Radio Shack
you are welcome to it.

Subject: [SixClub] looking for beacon transmitter

Hi everyone,
The Synton Amateur Radio Club (W9YH) at the University
of Illinois is looking for a transmitter for a six
meter beacon radio. We're looking for something along
the lines of the Icom 551 or IC-505. The receive part
of the radio does not need to work. We have an old
Ameco TX-62, but for a couple of reasons, we'd rather
not leave that on 24 hrs a day at the present
location.
If anyone has anything like this that they are willing
to sell or trade, please contact me at grams at uiuc.edu

Other ideas, comments, or suggestions are welcome as
well.

Thank you,
Scott Grams
W9AFB
