I would suggest a GE or Motorola FM xmtr instead of a piece of amateur gear
for beacon use...A GE EXECII or MASTR II or Mot MICOR are my favs....I may
have a lowband Motorola in storage....I prefer GEs more these days :)
If you key the multiplier stages and leave the osc on all the time, you get
a much better stable xmtr and no chirp!
