    Tho it seems a little late in the season, the last two days have been some good ones from this QTH North of Houston, Texas. The old DX net caught the following:

    My "super" station? 100 watts (Icom Pro III) and a cushcraft 5 element beam at about 22 feet. For those that think they don't have enough power to blast thru, XE3ARV was running 5 watts with a 2 element beam and he was extremely loud and worked many stations all over. Some of the East Coast boys were working some Europeans about the same time that all this happened. It is TRULY a magic band.... 73 Jay W5DN
