[SixClub] Contests & winning certificates also some Ideas

I'd say let's have a couple of contests in the prime Spring/Summer
propagation season, one early and one late...and then a couple during the
rest of the year, perhaps with one at a meteor shower or other event with
"interesting" propagation possibilities. That would give us the ability to
contest in a wide range of conditions on 6m.
We've got such a wide range of possibilities...but not everyone is in a
position to take advantage of all of them. I'm in the Atlanta area - with
my geography, I get sporadic E, and meteors...but auroral and tropo are not
so common. The folks in south Florida and along the Gulf have a different
"look", the folks bordering up towards Canada something different, and
that's just the eastern half of the US.
By the way, does anyone have any pointers to good references on working 6m
using large storm cells a few hundred miles away? I'd like to refine my
technique...
Stan

The certificates went out today to the top three, Caps went out to all
winners!
Now is the time to start making suggestions for next year's contest. We have
to have the contests in to QST before Oct for the next year.
