Nice rig.  IMHO a 3L is more than sufficient but don't really expect
it to cover both SSB (50.125) & FM (52.525) well.   Obviously more the
elements the better.  I am moving out to the country around year end
and am going with C3i VHF antennas http://www.c3iusa.com myself and
their 7L on 50 MHz.  They also have a 13L if you have the real estate.
 I plan on using LMR http://www.timesmicrowave.com feedline.
