Only difference between "nomic" and the better model is that you'll have to hook it up and unhook it every time you want to use your microphone for regular use.  The "nomic" won't let you keep your mic in line like the slightly more expensive model.  It's amazing the long list of modes you can operate using one of these things.  It comes shipped with all the cables needed, plus a software suite CD with many single-mode and multi-mode programs.  Even the CW features you'll get out if it is worth the money.
