[SixClub] Finally some sigs

The VHF antenna gurus tell me the Cushcraft A6S is a good one.
Their current 6M antenna of choice, though, is the C5I or C7I (5 element and
7 element) by a company called C3I, which does advertise in the ham
magazines. The owner of the company is now an Assistant Secretary of the
Air Force or something, was tapped for that a couple years ago, a real
techno-nut, and his designers and employees are all very serious VHF
mountaintop contest guys (e.g. K8ISK with the K8GP mountaintopping group).
W3ZZ the QST magazine VHF and up columnist, is one of their group and swears
by these antennas. That's what I would get if I hadn't scrounged a whole
bunch of used antennas (and have the Cushcraft A6S on my chimney).
Eventually I'll be buying some of the C3I antennas when I'm ready to buy
some new ones.
