OK Tom...well some things, like work, have to take a priority some times
eh!?!...hihi...I've been retired for going on 4 years now and that
certainly helps in the ham radio department...the band seems dead here
as well...all I heard tonight was a ghost like signal on 50.125 for
about 5 seconds....it would be GREAT to work you and I hope we do

Hi Bruce.  
I'm using a Ranger 5054dx, 10 watt rig into a homemade Moxon I built
from 
plans found on the net.  The last couple of nights has been more fun
than should 
be legal.  I'm a bit bummed that the band is dead tonight.  That's to my

benefit though.  I had to abandon the rig last evening to go to a fire
call and 
didn't come back in the door until a bit after 5 AM.  Better I get some
beauty 
sleep tonight than stay up late playing on the radio again.  

Hope to work you on 6 someday!
