[SixClub] Aurora

Here in Idaho we have the lights all the time. Not a peep on the radio last
I checked but I'm busy writing a book (or two).

Stepped out side to have a look-see. Can I see it? We'll can't see the
ground from my 2nd story balcony. I've got a cross-country flight scheduled
tomorrow morning. And the current observation from the airport is reporting
visibility at less than 15 feet. Fog and planes don't mix.

Oh well, no flying, no radio... back to the book.

Here is 05:49Z and the band is still open with lots of signals some of which
are S9 and others just above the noise. I can see about 10 spikes on the
spectrum scope while I type this.

The Aurora has been visible for at least the last 2 hours. A while back I
told VE3KZ we didn't have a visible aurora, but when I went out to the shop
the whole sky was lit up like a neon sign except for the color. Most of
this aurora has been the monochrome white or bluish green forming a circle
overhead with arms radiating out to the horizon.

Good luck all,
