[SixClub] WP3BM repeater status

Hi All,

We had a terrible weather last week, including a
lightning storm that damaged the RPT preamp, the
receiver PL card, and the Repeater controller.
Fortunatelly, and curious enough, the receiver section
was not damaged. I had a backup controller (hang timer
circuit) so I put the repeater back to work in no
time. The problem we still have lies within the PL
card from the Maxar: If you transmitt with a PL tone,
the receiver wil not accept it and will let it drop.
If you transmitt without a PL tone, everything is fine
(!!). So, if any of you have my repeater programmed in
your radios, please remove the PL tone for now. Phone
patch is not operational either. Infact, I think the
hit came trough the phone line, because my modem card,
which was connected to the controller, was also fried.
I will let you know when everything is back to normal.
