Well I cant get hold of another antenna in the short term so the homebrew
dipole now comes into play. Walking round the house, it seems that the best
bet is to attach each end of the dipole to the eves of the house so that the
centre connector lies directly under the apex of the house. The dipole is
going to lay east/west but not a lot I can do about that. It should be about
25' high. Just before I do this, anyone got any comments?

Thanks

David
