[SixClub] re; weak signal

I was listenning in the 50-51mhz range last night and heard all kinds of
heterodynes, but no beacons or voices.Can anyone confirm if the band was
open?I'm using a homebrew buddipole indoors, so I'm not sure exactly what I
was hearing.QTH is CT.
