Greetings All,

Thanks for all the great FD reports.

I got "elected" by our club to set up and run our 6m station (mainly cause
I kept pushing it!!!), W5NOR 3A Oklahoma... first time in almost 20 years
that the South Canadian ARS has had a 6 station ) up and running for FD
.
We used 2 rigs, an RCI 6 m 100w rig and an Icom IC-746 (when it wasn't
working 20m) and a KMA Super Six log periodic at 33 ft. We made 70 plus
contacts...and we were delighted. We heard many more but could not make
contact due to conditions...but, that's six for you!

All in all I was pleased with response of the other club members and with
field day as a whole, We worked six til almost 2am before the band shut
down and started up with the Flordia/South Carolina station about 6:45am.

We are already planning for the next Field Day and you can be sure we will
be there in force!

73,

John Carson kd5srw
Norman,OK
SCARS (South Canadian ARS)
