How do you run 51 transmitters in a 300mtr circle? We have a lot of bleed
over problems with only 4 transmitters.

In our large Field Day (W3AO, 51 transmitters) we all use headphones --
we're talking 10-15 operators/stations in one tent. If one of us (usually
me) has signals coming out of a speaker into the tent, we (me) get yelled at
(usually by W3LPL, who does our 20 SSB station). In this kind of setup,
going with headphones is pretty necessary.
And, the noise canceling (in the earphones, not the microphone) feature that
2 different Heil headsets now offer -- previously the $300 Bose ones and
$50-$80 "Noise Buster" ones can be pretty useful at FD, with a generator
droning in the background. (also useful on airplanes or other noisy
environments -- air conditioner or heat system making "white noise" in the
room, etc.) I used the small Heil noise canceling headset this weekend, the
ones without the boom mic., since I was doing CW. WA3FET bought a couple of
these for us to use at the WP3R station in Puerto Rico.
