Stay away from US Tower. I bought one of their 70' motorized crank-ups and
had a very bad experience when I had to go back to them for repair parts and
schematic documentation. They have absolutely no after-market savvy. Put me
through a run-around the likes of which I've never seen before, lied to me,
overcharged me for a new winch motor... the list goes on and on. Stay away!
Incidentally, the winch motor on my tower has malfunctioned again and I
can't figure out the problem. Does anyone know of a company in the Tampa Bay
area that does this sort of work? The only company I know of is in New
Hampshire, and I've had them down to work on my tower before but it's very
costly, you have to pay for the technician's air fare and lodging. I had to
bite the bullet on that cause I can't climb any more. But this will not
require any climbing, so does anybody know of a company in Florida who works
on winches and hoisting fixtures?
