Wow ! congrats on 100 grids! I am also a 6m addict and want to make WAS
before I die. I currently have 15 states confirmed. You must be in a great
area for openings. It seems to me here in Ohio that when I turn my Icom 736
on the band closes! I'm not giving up though, one way or the other I will
get all 50. I have a Cushcraft 3element beam at about 40' with a HamIII
turning the house. Good luck on the band and hope to catch you on the air
someday.

Subject: [SixClub] 100 grids confirmed finally

> Just shy of the end of my first year on 6 meters (June 16th) I finally
received confirmation of my 100th grid worked today. I've worked 157 grids
so far and have logged over 400 QSO's. I really wanted WAS in one year
(high expectations) but still lack a few states.

homebrew / rebuild of a MFJ 3 el yagi on a 8 foot boom at 28 feet with a
Radio Shack TV rotator. The remainder were with a IC706 into the same
antenna.

> My thanks to all the stations I worked and QSL'd with in the past year.
