If one has a six meter radio, a sound card, and software such as
> WinWarbler, is there anything else needed to play PSK31?

Isolation.... between the computer and radio is wise. The interface
provides isolation and a PTT circuit. The rigblaster is one such device
but if a kit is purchased or "radio shack parts" you can build a good
interface for less than $15. Look at
http://www.packetradio.com/PSK31.htm for kits ...

One advantage of the rigblaster type interface is it allows you to use
vox for the tx keying if you're out of "Comp Ports" on the pc. Most rigs
have all the cable hook-ups provided for on the back of the radio in an
accessory plug of some type. (usually a DIN plug but see the rig manual
for details)

If you just want to keep the cables straight, use cable ties. Hi
