HI all:
I tend to agree with the better antenna people. remember the rule for qrp. 
for every 6 db
of gain you get 1 s unit inncrese in signal strengh. that means if you double 
your power
you get 3 db of gain and about 1/2 a s unit better signal. i think it would 
be more cost
wise to get a beter antenna. and use a transverter. by the way i have a 3 el 
yagi up
20 ft. and worked el 59 (n5hyv) from en91 with 4 watts. granted i was 5/7 but 
i made the contact the first try.  i could use a better antenna and up higher 
.  i would hear better
and increse my gain both ways.  just wanted to throw my  two cents in .
