[SixClub] Starting out on SIX

Why do you have to run more than 20 watts? I guess the mind-set is more
is better? There are many stations running only 20 watts or less and we
all work them during openings and on ground-wave. I think one important
consideration being overlooked is having TXCO. If you want to operate
the JT65 modes stability is important. TXCO is optional with some rigs
and transverters. Who knows, you might want to try EME on six one day
with that transverter, or weaksignal modes. (EME after you purchase an
amplifier <grin>)
