Yep, it was a sweep tube...for some reason I thought it was a 2E26 but 
not sure about the tube now..(it was the T150 that had the 6146s in 
it...for some reason I put the 2E26 with the T60....egads, I need more 
coffee...or beer :) a 6DQ6 does sound right though..I never saw any mods 
for the T60 but thought the regulator could use some mods...every time 
the regulator tube went bad or the osc tube went gassy, the xmtr would 
go chirpy! Carrier controlled AM worked ok....Started with one xtal on 
40m CW (7130) and later pulled the xtal with a cap/coil to make it a 
VXO..then added a WRL VFO on it....(but after a while I had to leave the 
WRL VFO on all the time...keying it with the T60 would chirp bad!...)
I think I had one or two xtals for 6 (one 50.4 of course)
