[SixClub] My "New" Radio is ON!

Thanx Barry, for ideas. Maybe I did not get my concept across correctly, I
do not intend for the 5054 100 to "scan" ... I have, last count, 4 xcvrs and
about 4 scanners that would listen to SIX .. the scanners don't do too
good at CW/SSB! HIHI ..the thing is, I now have a multi-mode radio
w/minimum drift, that I can dedicate to 6M, no problemo ...I would, I think,
plant it on .125 ... hey, help me out here guys/gals! I have 5
dedicated IPs I can mess around with!
As to y recording program "time stamps". Was not trying to MIX the two ..
that was a separate subject, VS the Internet feed .. The recorder would be
for MY benefit, would, of course share info with any ham interested.. ..
But, the WWV idea you suggested has been entered into the mix. I was
thinking more like 1M beacon(s), local cop shops, and on and on ...
like, our Sunday morning local (75M) net, so those out of the listening area
could hear the participants, or when the static crashes conquer the
airwaves.. whatever. 73, Mark

Great idea. But with my 5054, I find it just as well
to leave it on .125 rather than scanning. It finds
some high-noise frequencies here and there that stop
the SQL. If you adjust if for them so the scan
continues, I am afraid it isn't sensitive enough on
.125. I scan from 110 to 200.

But having said that, if the band is open, there will
be some loud sigs up above .125 as well, pretty quick.

BTW the 'other channel' could record WWV. You'd get
time as well as prop cndx.
