I run the Cushcraft AR-6 and it's great.  I don't buy into that =
polarization stuff as much as some people and it's great to have an =
antenna around that is really an omni.  I also use a Par EF-6 wire =
antenna that is virtually invisible, can be mounted in any orientation, =
and can be cut for any 50-54 frequency.  Neither of these are commercial =
antennas but they sure do cut the mustard on the ham bands
