Hi!
I have read many good things about the Diamond 6 meter
vertical. It is a two element 5/8 wave collinear array
and 21' high, 6 db gain.
I made a 4 element 1/4 wave collinear array for the
repeater receiver site that is giving me good results,
but it is 35' high. The XMTR site has an AR-6 and I
can say that it has a good range, despite the island
(P.R.) topography. I have heard from some folks here
that the AR-6 is good for simplex, but not for
repeater/duplexer combination. Other folks have good
comments for the Sirio Antenna's (Italy) Tornado
50-60. It is a 3.5 DBd gain, but I have not had
experience with it. It is cheap, around $69.00 U.S.
local price (We have a dealer here). The Diamond sells
for around $145.00 U.S.
Go to EHAM.com and check the comments.
My two cents!
