[SixClub] Birdies?

I have a huge birdie right on top of 50.110.  Usually right at S5 but =
pointing in some directions may drop to S3.  Birdie extends from 50.108 =
to 50.113, a big chunk of the DX window.  It's always there.

Any ideas on the cause of birdies?  What can be done to eliminate it?  =
Radio is a IC706MKIIg, fed with LMR400UF to a 3 element Yagi at 28 feet. =
 Radio is powered by a RS35a supply which goes thru a line filter / =
surge protector to 110v wall outlet.
I've determined that I even have this birdie powered by 12 v battery =
with house power off at the panel.
Any ideas welcomed. =20
