GM Bart, I love 6m as well. In a year and a half, I've worked 41 states, S.
America, the UK, The Carribean and Italy on 6m. I'm in ham radio because of
the "no-code tech" and I appreciate the opportunity it gave me. I learned
code for the chance to work HF, but I really am not into CW probably because
I'm not very good at it. I currently trying for 5B WAS (6,15,20,40,80) and
VUCC (need 4 more confirmed) but the part I really like is ragchewing and
meeting new people. Not a big DX'er and Field Day and the NCQSO Party(next
weekend) are the only contests. Just enjoy the hobby.

Hey, I need EL08. Look towards FM16 in NC in the next opening, whenever the
heck that is.

C U on 6m

hi folks! this is kc5noa the one who started this mess! i just wanted to
thank all that took the time to answer my simple question. i had no idea it
was gonna start such a debate. all i have to say is i am a tech operator and
i worked hard for my ticket also! in the 9 years i have been on 6 meters i
have worked all states, australia, new zealand, all over south america and into
europe. childs play on hf. like to hear from some of you yahoos on hf if you
ever did that on 6 meters. are is that too hard for you?
i have absolutely no use for cw and if you like it good for you! you will
not have to worry about me qrm'ing you cause i will not be within 1000
miles of the cw bands! in closing i suggest everone take a deep
breath, breathe in a few times and lets forget about the debate. having fun
on six meters and loving every minute of it. kc5noa el08vb. bye yall!
