Have we forgotten 6m and all modes already (hey HAD to ask! ;)
I'm enjoying SSB, CW, AM as well as FM/rptrs on 6 (have for 30+
years)....even though I primarily operate FM on 6 while mobile, I now
have my 220 to HF+6 all mode remote working again....and having a ton of
run working 80m AMers while driving and listening to the 220
rptr....mobile antenna? Oh that's at the house on the roof hooked to the
TS680...well, I AM in a rental :)

(and if you use Echolink from a PC, where is your RADIO experience??
someone else has done it for you...and it may not be legal if you dont
keep to your subbands and dont have a way to legally control the station
as Part 97 requires).....

You want on RADIO?? get on RADIO...not the Internet! Sorry, I don't care
for Echolink for everyday use...there are uses for it...but if you want
to EXPERIENCE RADIO, for goodness sake, get on YOUR radio and learn the
modes, bands, etc...the fun is more delightful when YOU and YOUR radio
makes the contact...not someone else's through the Internet..my $.02 ;)
(BTW I am a VoIP supporter for interlinking and commercial uses as
well...but don't get me started on major PBX or CO trunking using
VoIP...I have STRONG disagreements about that as well!!)
