  Personally I'll be happy with whatever improvement the FCC lays on my 
little Tech Ticket..... If all I get is some small slivers of HF I can 
deal with that. I have a rock bound T-60. I'm only going to use little 
slivers of spectrum anyway. I'm also in the process of learning the 
code. Not because I have a gun to my head but because it's the OTHER 
MODE my antique transmitters can run..... Antique mode for my antique 
equipment. Globe, Knight, Lafayette. I even built a single tube 80m 40m 
cw transmitter thats sitting on the shelf waiting for change or my 
getting comfortable enough with the mode to go take the test. Whichever 
comes first. I'll be just as happy. I was banging away on a straight key 
last night around 50.04 just for fun. (fun/hobby/build/enjoy) What a 
concept!
  Which brings me to what I really wanted to find out.
What would be good frequency's for a SLOW coder to operate on? I need to 
find some more 6m CW rocks for the box. The only other xtal I have down 
that far is 50.004 and that one sounds like it's to close to the edge of 
the band to be useful. And if anyone has any spare FT243's they want to 
get rid of please let me know what freq. and what ya want for them. Hey, 
I'm havin fun, hope you are too. :-)
