I find it strange that you are interfering with his TV. And the fact that
he has sat TV plus he;s on channel 4.
Heres some questions that you should ask him.
1: Does he have a stereo hooked to the TV as this could be the problem not
the TV.
2: Does he have rabbit ears plus the sat TV hooked to a A/B switch.
3: And when did these problems begin it could be that he just saw your
antennas and thought YOU were his problem.
4: By all means do not try to fix the problem you my buy him better coax or
some ferrets. But have him install them so that anything happens and something
odd like the TV going on the blink you will not get the bill.
5: And the last resort if no solution is found and if it is you, you could
hand him an FCC Rule book that will show that its not your fault but the TV
manufactures fault.
When I was living the city some years ago I went through this type of
problem no matter what I did there was no cure. I got an FCC book to show him HIS
problem but I did make arrangements not to use that band during prim time. IF
i remember right between 7:00 and 10:00. But remember this was a last resort.
There are more suggestions on how to track down a problem on the ARRL web
sight. I hope that it all works out for you. GOOD LUCK
