The FCC rules allow CW in any part of the band from 50.001 up, as for
calling frequencies I never liked them, gives the new operator the IDEA he has to
call CQ there. There is no set calling FREQ for CW, Most CW people hang around
50.095 or 50.1, and often on 50.125. The band width of CW is so narrow it
shouldn't cause problems to SSB unless it is overloading your receiver. Nothing
irks me more than to see seven or eight people calling CQ on 50.125. If the
band opens you may see me calling CQ above 50.2
The Six Club has some changes and I will announce then around the new year.
