It's just wierd Rich because six meters has always been a band where it's been unclear exactly what is where.  For example ten and two meters were very easy for me to figure out an FM simplex calling freq.  On six it's a matter of region or opinion.  Perhaps you can tell me the history of this lack of concensus?
Even my "Icom hamfest bandplan" shows many different "calling frequencies" for the same mode.  Maybe these plans were made before VHF propagation was taken seriously?
