You might check the ARRL repeater book for an idea.

You're welcome to try my repeater here in Boise, If
and when the band opens :-)
52.620 output/52.120 input with a 110.9 tone.
I need a toned input due to the repeater being
somewhat near a noisy mountain top with other systems.
