Tom,
Well, I said this because some of the files have 20 or more pictures in
them for a manual. I can put them all in order and make a PDF manual out of
them, I was just thinking that it would make it more universal if it was in
PDF.
just my 3 cents (Inflation 'ya know!)

JPG is inherently compressed, so zipping JPG files is usually a waste of
time, unless you want to group files together into one download. GIF is
self-compressed too, but not as well. PDF is a bulky format. I can see
converting zipped GIFs and JPGs to unzipped files, but are you sure you
want to convert to PDF?
Makes sense for complex projects, with documentation and graphics combined,
to use PDF.
