[SixClub] Six meter antennas

I have worked a number of stations using their 80 meter or 40 meter
dipoles. Depending on the configuration, either horizontal flattop or
inverted vee, they can be very effective, BUT feedline loss (due to high
SWR) can be significant if the coax is very long at all. If it is RG58,
you could have a pretty good dummy load. Still, if it makes QSO's, that
is what counts Like I said, I have worked a number of stations doing
exactly that.

Well in answer to my own question, my auto tuner brings it down to 1:1,
unfortunately nothing on the band to rest it with but I would be
interested
if anyone else has employed this method (?)
