[SixClub] New (Old) radio

UPS delivered my new (old) Icom 575H (circa 1988 10 and 6 meter rig)  =
today and so far I'm impressed.  100 watts and no menus (lots of buttons =
and knobs).  Receiver seems on par with the 706MKIIg and only a hint of =
a birdie on 110 which the notch filter tunes out.  Amazingly the notch =
filter also helps with my persistent power line noise to the east.  The =
706's ANF wouldn't touch it. =20

 I haven't really road tested it yet, only a few local contacts, but I =
still have my 706 on the desk and will switch back and forth for a while =
to see which works better. =20

Anyone with experience with these older IC radios?
