Hi Guys & Gals:
Back up and let down the tailgate on this one !!!
Even if the band is not open 50.125 is a VERY POOR place to hold a net !!!
It is the "National SSB Calling Frequency" !!! You won't make many friends
operating there !!!
You CAN'T move down 5 KHz as that will put you into the "Foreign DX Window"
(Non-NA contacts) 50.110-50.125 Mhz !!!
Again you run the risk of interfering with DX that you can't hear and will
probably upset a lot of 6M operators !!!
If you want to start a NEW net I would suggest 50.130 MHz and PUBLICIZE it.
I don't see any sense in going against the long established 6M Bandplans.
They have been in place for over 33 Years and have worked well !!!

On 6M for 33 years and still having FUN !!!
