Joe;
I have used verticals, phased verticals, homebrew beams, and some quads.
All of my antennas have worked well with great results on 6.
When the band is open you can work six with a wet piece of spaghetti.
The most power I have run on six is ten watts; I currently run 5 watts
with my 3 element homebrew yagi...
A 4 or 5 element quad is not hard to build, and cheaper them buying
one....
Give it a go..

Subject: [SixClub] Quads

Anybody use quads on six? I've been using a boring 3 el cush for about
a year and am ready for a bigger beam. I've checked out lightning bolt
and cubex that's about it. Would I be better off building my own or
buying one? I'd like a decent quad for six 4 or 5 elements I could tune
up nicely for 6m SSB.
Anyone particularly impressed with a quad for collecting grids on six
meters?
