The CX7 was never very "hot" on 10 meters.
With everything, including ALC, running correctly you should expect 
about 80 watts out on 10.
Yes, you can drive the crap out of the radio but why.
RF board pot settings should be as close to the book as possible and 
never run the Clipping control past 10 o'clock.
If you want more power hook it up to an Alpha 77.  HI HI
